Ada Dianna Kellar, age 68, of Greenbrier passed away on October 25, 2018.

Dianna was the daughter of the late Odessa (Williams) and Lindell (Bullet) Davis. Dianna was married to the love of her life, Johnny Kellar, for 50 years. Johnny preceded her in death in 2017.

She is survived by two sons, Tony (Destiny) Kellar of Joplin, Missouri, and Nolan Kellar of Greenbrier, four grandchildren Dillan Kellar, Sarah Kellar, Jake Kellar and Rachel Plunkett, her sister, Linda Irby, niece, Anita Irby-Stephens of Conway, and friend, Angie Leber.

Dianna worked at the Faulkner County Courthouse while attending college, where she later served as Justice of the Peace for ten years. She began her teaching career in Mena, Arkansas. Dianna cherished her time there and made several lifelong friends. After five years, Dianna returned to Greenbrier, where she taught and served as a counselor for twenty-seven years. Dianna taught thousands of students and touched thousands of lives. Dianna served multiple roles while teaching, one of which was her role as sponsor of the 1985 graduating class of which she was very proud.

Dianna truly enjoyed helping others, especially friends and family. Dianna used her career in education and politics to do so. Dianna loved attending ballgames and spending time with her grandchildren. Dianna was strong in her Baptist faith.

Gathering of remembrance will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on October 30, 2018, at Bishop-Crites Funeral Home in Greenbrier. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any local charity of personal choice or the Alzheimer’s Association.
