Al Leland Roofener

Al Roofener, 86, of Greenbrier, passed away on March 31, 2024. He was born on July 10, 1937, in Fay, OK to the late Henry and Ella Roofener.
Al loved spending time camping, and being at the lake, water skiing. He loved to play his guitar with family. Al was a great storyteller and loved to share them with his grandkids.
He is preceded by his parents; three brothers; and four sisters.
Al is survived by his wife of sixty – four years, Lexie; sons, Scott Armatis (Denise), Markus Roofener (Maggie), and Alex Roofener (Terri); grandchildren, Chad Armatis, Preston Roofener, Ethan Roofener, and Minka Roofener; sisters, Sylvia Mattison, and Naomi McDaniel; brother, Wayne Roofener; and host of other family and friends.
A funeral service will be held in his honor at Wilcox Family Funeral Home on Friday, April 5th at 3:00 pm with the burial following at Thorn Cemetery. The visitation will be on Thursday, April 4th from 5:00 – 7:00 pm, also at Wilcox Family Funeral Home.
