Annis Rodgers Sterling

Annis (Ann) Rodgers, mother to Patrick (Shannon) Rodgers, Sandra Michel and Brad (Robyn) Rodgers, passed away on September 10, 2024, at the age of 89. Ann was born in Tupelo, Mississippi, on September 26, 1934, to parents Darwyn and Pauline Young.
Known for her sense of humor, selflessness, love of others, and her strong religious faith, Ann will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Ann’s family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life, not the sadness of her passing.
She is survived by her brothers, Robin (Madelyn) Young and Paul (Laura) Young; sister, Carolyn (Jesse) Davidson; three children; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A private graveside ceremony will be held at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at North Little Rock at 12 pm on September 19, 2024. There, she will be laid to rest with her husband Richard Guy Rodgers, who preceded her in death on November 17, 2004.
