Arthur "Vonny" Vaughan Winston Jr.

Arthur “Vonny” Vaughan Winston Jr., 69, of Greenbrier, Arkansas passed away July 20, 2021. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on January 26, 1952 to the late Arthur Winston Sr. and Geraldine “Jeri” Winston.
The love shared between Poppy and his grand babies was unlike any other. One of his most favorite past times was being able to cheer them on in everything that they did. He always made it a priority to teach them about the love of Jesus, and reminded each of them daily about the importance of church. He was a light to everyone he met and taught so many life lessons through old stories. He truly had a way about him to catch anyone’s attention. He touched many lives and will be missed by everyone of them.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Geraldine “Jeri” Winston; aunts and uncles, Dayton (Dorothy) Phipps, Violet (Jim) Clark, Awana (Marice) McIntire; brother-in-law’s Bob Prowell and Jerry Tally.
Vonny is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Danielle Winston; children, Danielle (Chris) Macomber, Angel (Hunter) Jackson, Hunter (Paige) Winston, Hallie (Ryan) Brents; grandchildren, Steven Leonard, SkyLeigh Winston, Willow Winston, Slade Brents, Kenzington Jackson, Fisher Winston, Axel Brents; siblings, Tomi Jane Prowell, David (Jina) Winston, and Melba Tally; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Friday, July 23, 2021 at Bishop-Crites Funeral Home.
Funeral will be at 10:00am on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Bible Baptist Church in Conway, Arkansas with burial following to Cypress Valley Cemetery with Brother David Winston officiating.
