Asburn Treat Jr., passed from this life on August 22, 2021 at St. Bernard’s Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 77 ½ he was born on January 10, 1944 to Asburn Treat Sr. and Mildred Anderson Treat at home in Big Flat, Arkansas.
He was a retired Truck Driver.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Catherine Treat; son, Tony Asburn Treat; mother, Mildred Treat; father, Asburn Treat Sr.; sisters, Janice Treat and Lynn Ramsey; brother, James Charles (JC) Treat.
Asburn is survived by his 4 children, Angela Treat Summitt (William) of Midlothian, Texas, Amy Treat Petty (Robie) of Temple, TX, Jordan Eugene Treat, Porter Corners, NY, and Joseph Brandon Treat of Owasso, OK; five grandchildren, Caleb, Andrew, Candace, Theo and Theia; three great grandchildren Aric, Olivia and Abby; longtime girlfriend, Patricia Morris of Edmonson, AR and honorary grandson Sean; brothers and sisters; Myrle Hyslip of Marianna, Arkansas, Clarence Treat (Marilyn) of Colt, AR, Lillie Ramsey, Big Flat, AR, Larry Treat of Grenada, MS, Ricky Treat (Aliesa) of Mountain View, AR, Clayton Treat (Sharon) of Aubrey, AR, Tina Traylor (Michael) of Moro, AR and Nancy Jayroe (Cary) of Sulphur Rock, AR; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Friday, August 27, 2021 at Bishop-Crites Funeral Home.
Graveside will be at 11:00am on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Treat Cemetery in Big Flat, Arkansas.
