Aubrey Lee Mccormack

Aubrey Lee McCormack passed away at the age of 92 on December
28, 2011. Mac was born at Emmet, AR on September 12, 1919. He was a
member of Second Baptist Church in Conway.
Mac was preceded in death by his parents Harrel and Lena
McCormack and brother Clyde all of Little Rock.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Nell Jane, a son Barron
and wife Marla of Conway, 2 daughters Linda McCormack of
Tulsa and Anita Engel and husband Larry of Little Rock. He leaves
behind one brother Jack in San Diego and two sisters Marie Smoots
and Norma McCormack of Little Rock. There are seven grandchildren,
Jacob & Samuel McCormack of Conway, Brande Ford of Little Rock,
Earl Shamblin of Stillwater, OK, Shane & Erin Bjornberg and
Katherine Kelley of Tulsa. There are seven great grandchildren.
Mac was a World War II veteran having served 5 years in the Air
Force as an aerial engineer and bombardier. He flew 53
missions over Japanese occupied islands.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January
14th at 11 a.m.at the Second Baptist Church in Conway.
Internment will be at Ellington Cemetery in Magazine, AR.
Memorials, in lieu of flowers, are suggested for Arkansas Hospice,
Alzheimer's of Arkansas or the American Cancer Society.
