Barbara Allen Chalk Taylor, gained her heavenly wings on August 25, 2018. Born to Luther Allen “Shorty” Chalk, and Catherine Ellen Sweeney Chalk, June 16, 1948 in Higden.
Joined hands and hearts with Richard Taylor the love her life on March 16, 1971.
Proceeded in death by her daddy Luther Allen “Shorty” Chalk. Three children, Kimberly Ann Bailey, Scotty Wayne Bailey, and Sonja Monica Taylor.
Left behind to morn is her husband of 47 years, Richard Taylor; her mother Catherine Ellen Chalk of Heber Springs. Her brother, Roger (Brenda) Chalk of Rose Bud; two daughters, Rena Ellen Shrum (Brian Wheeler) of Vilonia, AR, Tina Louise (Steve) Coger of Bauxite , AR; five grandchildren, Kimberly Ann Scaliatine of Fort Worth, TX, Candace Rena (Jody) Broyles of Vilonia, Steven Scaliatine of Wauconda, IL, Jeffrey (Holly) Stracener of Vilonia, and Nicholas Taylor (Anna) Stracener of Conway; and five great grandchildren, Mikel Jase Picklesimer Broyles of Conway, AR, Jacob Scott Broyles of Little Rock, AR, Josie Elizabeth Cordell of West Helena, AR, Clarence Allen Stracener of West Helena, AR, and Samuel Taylor Stracener of Conway, AR.
She will be loved and missed by all.
Pallbearers will be Steve Coger, Steven Scaliatine, Nicholas Stracener, Brian Wheeler, Jeffrey Stracener, and Jody Broyles.
Visitation will be held on August 28, 2018 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at Bishop-Crites Funeral Home in Greenbrier, Arkansas. Service will be held on August 29, 2018 at 2:00PM with burial following to Higden-McLehaney Cemetery with Reverend Robert Covington officiating.
