Betty Von Harvey
October 17, 1939 — December 25, 2024
Betty Harvey, 85, went to be with the Lord on His birthday. She was born October 17, 1939, in the Needs Creek Community to the late Edgar Kirby and Arlie Garrett Kirby. She was also preceded by her husband of over 50 years, Thad Harvey; sister, Mary Catherine Kirby, brother, Junior Kirby, and her twin brother, Bobby.
She loved to go antiquing with Thad, and they later owned their own antique store. She loved her flowers and loved to decorate her home. She was a faithful member of LifeSong Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Rocky Harvey (Debra); daughter, Beth Hercher (John); grandchildren, Asa (Laura) Harvey, Drew (Kiah) Harvey, and Gretchen Hercher; one great grandchild, Zaylei Harvey; and one sister, Charlene Palmer James.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, December 30, 2024, at Pleasant Valley Cemetery with Freddie Mark Wilcox officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Arkansas Hospice or a charity of your choice.
