Betty Gail Meek of Greenbrier, went to be with the Lord on July 20, 2024. She was born on July 6, 1947, to the late Clifton and Corene Edwards in Bee Branch, AR.
Betty was a long-term resident of Greenbrier Gardens; she enjoyed living there and loved all of her friends she had met over the years. Betty loved her children and grandchildren more than anything.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Gayle Butterfly; sisters, Nela Gregory, Shelby Burkett, Kella Tester, Donna Stoker; and brothers, Thomas Edwards, Chuck Edwards, and Freddie Edwards.
Betty is survived by her son, Michael (Lindsey) Meek; her daughter, Michelle (Tom) Hornbecker; her grandchildren, Kinley, Chanley, Jack, Jessica, Kayla, Micah, and Aimee; nine great grandchildren; her sister, Anna Cotton; and brother, Rick Edwards.
There will be a memorial service in her honor on Saturday, July 27th at 11:00 am, at Wilcox Family Funeral Home. A visitation will be held an hour prior at 10:00 am.
