Betty Mcgill
September 12, 1940 — January 18, 2012
Betty McGill of Hot Springs, AR, passed away peacefully
Wednesday at her home, with her family by her side. She was
born in Los Angeles, CA, to the late Clyde H. Jones and the late
Lois Jones. She was an active member of the Lakeside Alumni
Association and was a charter member of the ALSCON Chi-Chi
Sisterhood. Betty enjoyed traveling the world and spending time
with good friends.
She is survived by Roy McGill, her husband of 52 years, her
daughters Gina Young, and her husband Steve, Tammy Tucker, and
her husband Mike, her grandchildren Steven Young, Christopher
Young and Rachael Tucker, her brother Gary Jones and his wife Darla
and her sister Sharon Koller.
A Celebration of Betty's Life and a time of remembrance for
family and friends will be held at Smokin' In Style, 2278 Albert
Pike Road Hot Springs, AR. Friends and family are invited to
drop by on Sunday, January 22nd between 1:00pm and 3:00pm.
Interment will be at a private ceremony in Washington State. In
lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her honor
to Lakeside Alumni Association or Lester Dierksen Memorial
Hospice
