Billie Christy

Billie Joe Christy 79 of Greenbrier died August 10, 2012. He was
born October 8, 1932 in Belleville, Arkansas to Obie Christy and
Cassie Dennis Christy. Mr. Christy was of the Baptist Faith and
served his country in the United States Air Force.

He is preceded in death by his parent s, and his wife Betty Jean
Brown Christy.

Survivors include son Billie Joe Christy Jr. and Chris of Winton
Salem, North Carolina, daughters Barbara Watkins and Jimmy of
Greenbrier, Brenda Karnes and Keith of Witts Springs, and Brandy
Christy of Conway. Other survivors include five grandchildren and
two great grandchildren along with a host of other family and
friends.

Visitation will be from 6pm to 8pm Monday August 13, 2012 at
Bishop-Griffin Funeral Home in Greenbrier. Funeral services will be
10am Tuesday August 14, 2012 at Bishop-Griffin Funeral Home with
Bro. Bill Roderick officiating. Burial will follow at 2pm at Ard
Cemetery with military honors.
