Billy Gene Fowler, 74, of Greenbrier passed from this life on Monday, April 20, 2015. He was born May 22, 1940 in Vilonia, Arkansas to Virgil (Jack) Fowler and Joyce Lee Fowler. Mr. Fowler was devoted father and grandfather, and a great friend to anyone who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his father and a grandchildren Virgil Fowler and Sammy Bates.
Mr. Fowler is survived by his mother Joyce Eaton of Conway, children Shannon Fowler of Greenbrier, Chad and April Fowler of Eureka Springs, Kristine Hobbs of Monroe, LA., Jackie Fowler of Salem, OR., Clint Fowler of Salem, OR., Michael and Mary Fowler of Morrilton, Chris Fowler of Morrilton and Justin Fowler, grandchildren Leslie Beaty, Sarah Beaty, Jesse Fowler, Frank Fowler, Aaron Fowler, Anna Fowler, Leaham Smith, Jordyn Bates, Jaidyn Fowler and Zander Fowler. Other survivors include brother Larry Dale Burnett of Conway, sister Elizabeth Ann Cato of Blytheville, nephew Bobby Lee Hobbs and wife Crissy, husband-in-law Dalton Britt along with a host of extended family and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 6pm to 8pm at Bishop-Crites Funeral Home in Greenbrier. Funeral services will be 12pm, Friday April 24, 2015 in Bishop-Crites Chapel with Bro. Freddie Mark Wilcox officiating.
