Billy White Jr.
March 11, 1950 — October 9, 2022
Billy White Jr., a believer in Jesus Christ, went to be with the Lord on October 9, 2022. He was born March 11, 1950 to Billy and Jimmie Jean White. Billy is survived by his wife of 48 years, Kathy, his daughter Trish White of Little Rock, his son, Jarred White of Conway, two brothers, Randy White (Sue) of Nashville, Doug White (Robin) of Plummerville, and sister, Susan Tucker of Carlisle and a large number of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Billy was a graduate of Nashville High School and University of Central Arkansas with a degree in Special Education. He was a proud member of both the Nashville Scrappers and UCA Bear football teams. Billy taught Special Education and coached in Conway School District for 33 years.
Billy spent his summers fishing, hosting a fish fry, and telling fish stories to family and friends, often embellishing the sizes and quantity of fish. He could often be heard whistling or singing Southern Gospel hymns.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, October 12 at 2pm at Second Baptist Church in Conway, Arkansas.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to The Food Pantry at Central Baptist Church of Conway, Arkansas or The Call of Pulaski County.
