Bobby Richardson

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Bobby Wayne Richardson Jr., who left this world on April 14, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on November 13, 1959, in Heidelberg, Germany, Bobby was a proud son of a military family, embodying the values of service and dedication throughout his life.

Bobby served honorably in the United States Air Force for 20 years, including a distinguished deployment during the Persian Gulf War. His commitment to his country was matched only by his love for his family and community. He married the love of his life, Sherrill Richardson, May 1979, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and shared dreams

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby Richardson Sr. and Alice Jones, and his cherished sister, Mary Sutton. He is survived by his devoted wife, Sherrill, whose unwavering support and companionship were a source of strength for him throughout their years together, daughter Windy Mazurek (Jamey), and grandchildren Gracie and Grant Mazure.

A true car enthusiast, Bobby pursued a second career as a mechanic at Kieth's Service Station and spent his retirement tinkering in the garage or attending local car shows. His passion for automobiles was only rivaled by his dedication to the community of Vilonia, Arkansas, where he was known for his kindness and willingness to lend a helping hand to neighbors and friends alike.

Bobby's legacy is one of service, love, and community. He will be remembered for his warm smile, generous spirit, and the countless lives he touched. As we celebrate his life, we invite all who knew him to share their memories and stories, keeping his spirit alive in our hearts.

Rest in peace, Bobby. Your legacy of love and service will forever be cherished.

Memorial will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Vilonia Military Museum.
