Calvin Coolidge Jones III, of Milan, TN went to be with the Lord and Savior on April 16, 2023. He was born on July 6, 1970, in Little Rock, AR.
Calvin is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Carrie and Henry Overton; paternal grandparents, Earnell and Calvin C. Jones Sr.; and brother, Victor Lamar Jones.
Calvin loved the Lord and his family. Calvin was the ultimate family man. Every kid he would meet at the softball, football, or just friends of his kids he treated them like his own. He enjoyed watching his daughter Savanna play softball on a travel team, high school and college team. Calvin enjoyed working on project with his son Calvin (CJ) around their home, working on CJ’s boat and truck, watching him play football, and target shooting. Calvin Loved and cherished his wife Rebecca. Calvin was blessed to see his granddaughter Addilyn Lovett born in November 2022 and spent time spoiling her.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 22 years Rebecca Jones; children, Savanna Jones (Jacob Lovett) and Calvin (CJ)Jones IV both of Milan, TN; granddaughter, Addilyn Lovett of Milan, TN; father Calvin Coolidge Jones JR.; mother, Vivian Overton Jones both of North Little Rock, AR; sister, Dr. Tammy Jones of Fairfax, VA and Angela (Eric) Armstrong of North Little Rock, AR; mother-in law, Becky (Bill) Gray of Guy, AR; nephew Daniel (Lesley) Strain of Quitman, AR; niece, Nori Armstrong of North Little Rock, AR and many more nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family and lifelong friends.
Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Wilcox Family Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be at 10:00am on Friday, April 21, 2023 at Wilcox Family Funeral Home with burial following to Old Texas Cemetery.
