Carol Starr, Ann, has passed at the age of 75, after a lengthy illness on June 2, 2022.
Born September 1946 in Tucson Arizona, to Mr. and Mrs. Irvin J Powell.
There she met and married Raymond F Starr in 1964, together they enjoyed the birth their daughter, Malinda Ann.
Later they relocated to Arkansas, the home of her ancestors, most of whom had settled here in the mid 1800s. Eventually the family established and operated “Tri Starr Dairy” in Greenbrier Arkansas, near the McGinty Town community.
She is proceeded in death by her husband, Ray; her father, Irvin; her grandparents Namon and Eula Daniel; Troy and Malinda Powell, all of whom were born and are now resting in Johnson County Arkansas
She is survived by her daughter, Malinda Ann Henkel; her grandson, Corbin Ray Henkel; and two great granddaughters, all living near Iron Mountain, Michigan; her mother, Kathleen Daniel Powell and her brother Robert (Debbie), both residing near Greenbrier, her cousins Alan (Diane) of Phoenix Arizona and Troy (Louise) of Higden Arkansas, and hundreds of others from the Chronister, Daniel, Blackburn, Blackard, Patterson, Ferguson, and Hatfield, families of Johnson County Ark.
Ann shared her mother's love for raising flowers and she never met an animal she didn’t like, be it the tortoises of the Sonora Desert to the long horn steer, Jose`, that she raised after closing her Jersey dairy. She truly loved all creatures great and small.
