Carolyn Lee Walker, 79, of Enola, Arkansas went to be with the Lord surrounded by her family on July 13, 2026. She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on October 22, 1946, to R.L. Dunnam and Genevia Phillips Dunnam.
Carolyn passed away leaving behind a lifetime of treasured memories and a legacy of love, faith, and kindness that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
Carolyn found joy in the simple things in life. She loved sewing, knitting, crafting, fishing, and spending time browsing flea markets in search of unique treasures. Whether creating something beautiful with her hands or enjoying the outdoors with a fishing pole, she embraced every opportunity to do what she loved and to share those moments with others.
A devoted member of Enola Church of Christ, Carolyn faithfully served her church family with a special love for children. She enjoyed helping with Children's Church and Vacation Bible School, where her caring heart, gentle spirit, and love for teaching others about God's love touched countless young lives.
Above all, Carolyn's greatest joy was her family. She loved them deeply, cherished every moment spent together, and found happiness in watching her family grow. Her love was unwavering, her presence comforting, and her heart always open. The memories she created and the love she shared will continue to live on in the lives of those she leaves behind.
Carolyn will be deeply missed by her family, friends, church family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. While her absence leaves an immeasurable void, those who loved her find comfort in knowing her faith was steadfast and that her legacy of love, compassion, and service will never be forgotten.
She is proceeded by her husband of 29 years, Jack Edward Walker; and parents, R. L. and Geneva Dunnam.
Carolyn is survived by her four children, Richard (Kathryn) Stansky, Christie (Roddie) Chapman, Gary Stansky, and Daniel Walker; seven grandchildren, Heather (Jeremy) McHughs, Jennifer (Alan) Lemmon, Sarah (Johnathon) Bailey, Tyler (Kassie) Chapman, Riley (Kayla) Chapman, Hannah (Wren Alexander) Chapman, and Jack Walker; thirteen great grandchildren, Danielle McHughs, Nadia McHughs, Allison McHughs, Isabella North, Vivian Crumpton, Brayden Lancaster, Adalyn Bailey, Trinity Bailey, Rustyn Chapman, Laynie Chapman, Laiklynn Chapman, Raidyn Chapman, Carleigh Chapman; great- great grandchildren, Oliver Calhon and Elias Calhon; one sister, Charlotte Davis; three brothers, Roger (Ann) Dunnam, Sherman (Mary) Dunnam, Randy (Michelle) Dunnam; a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be at 11:00am on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Wilcox Family Funeral Home.
Funeral will be at 12:00pm on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Wilcox Family Funeral Home with burial following to Cadron Valley Cemetery and Brother David Riley officiating.
Pallbearers will be Gary Stransky, Daniel Walker, Tyler Chapman, Riley Chapman, and Wren Alexander.
Honorary pallbearers are Rustyn and Raidyn Chapman.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Arkansas Hospice/Lifetouch Health for the compassionate care provided to Carolyn. A special thank you is also extended to Morgan Bartley, Miceala Stephens, Ramona Stephen, and Hannah Chapman, Carolyn's beloved granddaughter, for their loving care, kindness, and support during her final journey. Your compassion and dedication brought comfort not only to Carolyn but to her entire family, and your generosity will always be remembered.
