Charles Alexander Jr. Profile Photo
Charles Alexander Jr., 83 of Guy, Arkansas passed away on October 7, 2022. He was born in Kilbourne, Louisiana on August 12, 1939 to Charlie Alexander and Eula (Thomlinson) Alexander.

Charlie wore many hats, in all of his 83 years he was just there, always there for everyone. He worked, always worked. Charlie had a route where he stocked vending machines to businesses in Conway. After he hauled trailers over the road trucking, driving thousands of miles over the years. He was the “Texaco Man” that we all remember and loved. Helping us all at one time or another. He and Carolyn used to ride motorcycles all over Arkansas. He was a member of Copperas Springs Baptist Church and on their Board of Directors, drove the church bus and was available to help in any way he could. And he did! He cut and raked many fields of hay, raised cattle, loved us, our children, and their children. We loved him. He loved dinners with friends, especially catfish and mexican food. We tried to fill as many of his lonesome days as we could when he lost Carolyn, a part of him left with her. He taught us how to give of ourselves and to think of others first. We will be missing you Mr. (Papa) Charlie.

He is preceded in death by parents, Charlie Alexander, Eula Alexander and Udel Alexander; loving wife of 32 years, Carolyn Alexander; and son, Charles Michael Alexander.

Charles Alexander Jr. is survived by his children, Joey Glover of Guy, Missy Sackett and husband James of Higden, and Terry Yarbrough of Greenbrier; grandchildren, Shauna Johnson and husband Michael of Greenbrier, Wesley Reynolds and wife, Felicia of Conway, Brandon Colt Glover and wife, Amber of Bentonville, Kelly Allen and Husband Shawn of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Shelby Marshall of Greers Ferry; 11 great grandchildren; siblings, David Alexander and wife Margaret of Conroe, Texas; a host of family and friends.
