Charles Edward Emmons 68 of Bee Branch went to be with the Lord on Friday June 13, 2014. He was born June 18, 1945 in Tyronza, Arkansas to James Edward Emmons and Pauline Gates Emmons. Mr. Emmons was of the Pentecostal Faith.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Brenda Emmons, brother James Ray Emmons and grandson Jesse James Caston Jr.
He is survived by his wife Teresa Emmons of Bee Branch, son Charles Edward Emmons Jr. of Louisiana, daughters Tina Michelle Emmons-Grey, Sylvia Kathryn Emmons-McIntyre and Nickie Lee Emmons-Sanders all of Louisiana. Other survivors include brother James Emmons (Vicky) of Conway, sisters Linda Lamb (Charles) of Damascus, Betty Lawson (Pete) of Missouri, Fay Sullivan (Huey) of Louisiana, Donna Crisler (Floyd) of Bee Branch, Frieda Pennington (Larry) of Bee Branch, 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of extended family and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday June 15, 2014 from 6pm to 8pm at Bishop-Crites Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2pm Monday June 16, 2014 in Bishop-Crites Chapel with Pastor Wesley Norris officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Mountain Cemetery in Bee Branch.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Stafford, Floyd Crisler, Henry Marsh, David Stafford, Larry Pennington, and Shane Ward.
