Charlie Fletcher Stewart

Charlie Fletcher Stewart, 71, of Springfield, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on July 18, 2026. He was born in Cleveland, Mississippi on December 12, 1954, to the late Earlton and Ruby (Hunt) Stewart.

He was a devoted husband, a proud father, and a loving grandfather whose greatest joy was the time he spent with those he loved.

Charlie had a true passion for the outdoors. Whether he was hunting in the woods or casting a line on the water, he found peace and happiness in nature. Those moments brought him great fulfillment and created countless memories that his family and friends will always cherish.

A hardworking man through and through, Charlie spent much of his life working in construction and carpentry. He had a talent for building with his hands and took pride in a job well done. If something needed fixing or building. His craftsmanship and strong work ethic were evident in everything he did.

Charlie was known for being ornery and stubborn at times, but beneath that tough exterior was a genuinely good man with a caring heart. He showed his love through his actions, always working hard to provide for his family and those he cared about. His sense of humor, determination, and unmistakable personality are the things his loved ones will remember most.

Above all else, Charlie loved his family. His wife, children, and grandchildren were the center of his world, and the time he spent with them meant more to him than anything else. His love, guidance, and the memories he created with them will continue to live on for generations.

Though Charlie's presence will be deeply missed, his legacy of hard work, love for the outdoors, and unwavering devotion to his family will never be forgotten. His family will forever cherish the memories they shared and find comfort knowing that his love will remain in their hearts always.

His memory will be forever treasured by his beloved wife, who will carry his love in her heart every day. Charlie will always be loved, fondly remembered, and never forgotten by his wife, children, grandchildren, and all who were blessed to know him.

He is proceeded in death by his parents; brothers, Walter Stewart, James Stewart and stepdaughter, Tracy Gail Pugh.

Charlie is survived by his wife of 25 years, Donna Stewart; children, Keither (Bruce) Kirkpatrick; stepchildren, Christina (Chris) O’Neal, Brandy (Aaron) Broussard, Shawn Irwin, Jonathon (Shawna) Irwin, and Priscilla (Daniel) Whiticker; grandchildren, Raegan Kirkpatrick, Talulah O’Neal, Finnegan O’Neal, Lillian Broussard, London Broussard, Lyla Broussard, Spencer (Shana) Irwin, Christian Irwin, Cayden Irwin, Gavin Irwin, Alec Whiticker, Makenzie (Tristian) Smith, Rowan Whiticker, and Cadence Whiticker, Drew (Haley) Pugh, Abbigale (Jeremy) Henderson, Samantha (Jason) King; great grandchildren, Winnery Pugh, Grayson Thomas, Tucker Thomas, Beckett Henderson, Finn Henderson, Oliver Irwin, Skyler Irwin, Baylor Smith; sister, Amanda Stewart, brother, Roy Stewart; and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Monday, August 3, 2026, at Wilcox Family Funeral Home.
