Clark Dale Cotten, 68, of Damascus, Arkansas passed away on April 15, 2022 at UAMS in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born on November 22, 1953 in Malvern, Arkansas to the late Oid Webster Cotten and Beulah Corrine Taylor Cotten.

Clark graduated as Valedictorian of Eastbrook High School in Dalton, Georgia in 1971. He also graduated with a degree of Electrical Engineering from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas in 1976. He was a member of the Theta Tau and the Razorback Marching Band. He married his wife Patricia (Pat) Bacon Cotten on October 4, 1980 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Clark received his PE in Engineering in 1982. Clark was Director of Telecommunications/Quality of Service with the Arkansas Public Service Commission at the time of his death and has worked for APSC for 23 years and 22 years prior to that employed by Arkansas Power and Light/Entergy.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Patricia (Pat) Bacon Cotten; one son, Elliott Samuel Cotten; one granddaughter, Esme’ Patricia Cotten; one brother, WT Cotten, and his wife, Lorrie of Mesquite, Texas; four nephews, and three nieces as well as a great nephews and great nieces.

Memorial Service will be at 11:00am on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Bishop-Crites Funeral Home.
