Damon Wilkie Cardin, 83, of Greenbrier, Arkansas passed away on March 15, 2024. He was born in Holland, Arkansas on August 16, 1940 to the late Ed and Tressie (McGinty) Cardin.
Damon served in the United States Army as an auto mechanic and received a good conduct medal and marksman medal before returning to civilian life where he worked in metal construction. He and his wife Ann were an avid fisherman, deer hunters, and enjoyed spending time with their family.

He is preceded by his wife of 63 years, Ann Cardin; parents; brothers, Don Cardin and Lewis Jay Cardin; sisters, Emma Reed and Ellia Cardin; brother-in-laws, Faber Black, and Lonis Hammett.

Wilkie is survived by a son, Damon Patrick Cardin and Kim; daughter, Dana Annissa Noblitt and husband Edward; grandchildren, Lee Cardin and Heather, Cody Cardin and Brittany, and Christopher Noblitt and wife Holly, Leighton Noblitt, and Alexis Noblitt; great grandchildren, Avery Moore, Asher Smelser, Archer Cardin, Draven Noblitt, Annissa Noblitt, Cyler Noblitt, Anastasia Noblitt; sisters, Dorothy Gail Black, Nona Byrd, May Hammett, and numerous family and friends. Special acknowledgement to his nurse Beth Phillips.

Visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Monday, March 18, 2024 at Wilcox Family Funeral Home.

Funeral will be at 2:00pm on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Wilcox Family Funeral Home with Brother Freddie Mark Wilcox officiating and burial following to McGintytown Cemetery.
