Daniel Cleon Burroughs

Daniel Burroughs passed from this life on December 31, 2023. He was born September 11, 1970, in Little Rock, AR, to parents Bobby Burroughs and Grace Christian Pate. Daniel was a twin and he and his brother, Nathan, gladly brought to this earth the general chaos that only comes with being identical twin boys.
He met and married Becky Teague in Fox, Arkansas, in 1990. In 1992, Daniel moved his young family to Guy, AR, and made First Pentecostal Church of Guy his home for over 20 years. He and his wife raised all four of their children here, and together, they poured their lives into their family. Daniel taught his children to love God, their church, and their leadership. He showed them how to give not only of their substance, but of themselves. He loved his family, pastor, and church family with all of his heart. Today, by the grace of God, all four of his children remain saints of the First Pentecostal Church of Guy.
Left to cherish his memory are his children: Greg (Katy) Burroughs of Guy; Summer (Trevor) Halbrook of Greenbrier; Crystal Burroughs of Greenbrier; and Matthew (Jasmine) Burroughs of Conway; both parents, Bobby Burroughs and Grace Christian Pate; three brothers, Nathan Burroughs; Bobby (Vanessa) Burroughs Jr.; James (Jennifer) Burroughs; a sister, Amanda Winberry; five grandchildren, Katie, Augustus, Macklin, Dathan, and Bryleigh; and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral will be at 11:00am on Saturday, January 6, 2024 First Pentecostal Church in Guy, Arkansas with visitation 1 hour prior. Burial following to Copperas Springs Cemetery.
