Deborah, known to many as Debbie or Nanny, was a one of a kind lady.
Anyone she met, she would say, ``Just call me Nanny." She enjoyed planting her flowers and trees (her pretties), tending the garden, and canning tomatoes. Her love was fishing. She could out fish us all and loved to catch the first fish and she usually did.
Debbieś heart is one of service. She was a giver and would work to help anyone in need. Her home was a welcome place. Nanny loved ALL her ¨babies.¨ This included her children and their spouses, their extended families, her grandchildren, anyone that came to visit, her dogs, her fish, and for sure her plants. We are all her babies. She loves Beryl with her whole heart and the two of them have shown us a lasting example of what dedication and marriage is.
Most importantly Debbie loved the Lord God and Jesus. She prayed for her family and friends. She liked to write them down. Deborah prayed to be in Godś word and for the salvation of her friends and family. She counted each of her blessings and was thankful for each one.
Psalm 16:5-11
Lord, you alone are my portion and my cup;
you make my lot secure.
6 The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places;
surely I have a delightful inheritance.
7 I will praise the Lord, who counsels me;
even at night my heart instructs me.
8 I keep my eyes always on the Lord.
With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
9 Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices;
my body also will rest secure,
10 because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead,
nor will you let your faithful[a] one see decay.
11 You make known to me the path of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence,
with eternal pleasures at your right hand.
