Diana Lynne Ward, aged 58, of Bee Branch, Arkansas passed away October 28th, 2015. She was born October 12, 1957 in Memphis, Tennessee to Roy Lee Barnes and Elsie Turner Barnes.
Diana was preceded in death by her father, and is survived by her husband of 34 years, Kenneth Ward.
She is survived by sons Brit Ward and Sheena of Greenbrier, Arkansas, and Jeremiah Garrett and wife Rena of Clinton, Arkansas. She is survived by daughters Bridget Leonard and husband Adam of Bee Branch, Arkansas, and Kenya DeLima and husband Justin of Buckeye, Arizona. Diana is also survived by her mother, Elsie Barnes, two brothers, Gary Barnes and wife Glenda of Damascus, Arkansas, and Matthew Barnes of Damascus, Arkansas, and by one sister, Sandra Jacobs and husband Frank of Peoria, Arizona.
Diana was proud grandmother to Jennifer Garrett, Brittany Birdsong, Brooklyn Smith, Brody Smith, Brinkley Smith, April England, Gabby Ward, and Allen Ward. She was much beloved by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Diana worked in the nursing and social work profession, where she was respected and loved by peers, clients, and friends for her dedication and compassion.
A memorial service celebrating the fabulous life of Diana will be held Saturday, October 31st, 2015 at 11:00am at Bishop-Crites Funeral Home in Greenbrier, Arkansas. Brother Steve Stephens will be officiating.
