Donald Edward Egelhoff, 72 years, of Mayflower, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2015. He was born February 13, 1943, in St. Joseph, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother. He is survived by his wife, Wanda, three daughters, two step-daughters, one step-son, and thirteen grandchildren.
Don was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. A former U.S. Marine, he served two tours in Vietnam and earned two Purple Hearts and several other recognitions for honorable service. He retired from the Jacksonville Police Department and was in law enforcement for 27 years.
A celebration of his life will be Thursday, March 5th at Mayflower United Pentecostal Church, 24 Center St.����, Mayflower, Arkansas at 10:00 a.m.
