Donald Lee Legate, 84, of Clinton, Arkansas passed away on April 24, 2023. He was born in Clinton, Arkansas on March 22, 1939, to the late Hal and Marie Legate.
Don was an aspiring commercial artist in Chicago to an avid entrepreneur in Arkansas and owning a construction company, bar, restaurant, auto part store with service station and Bee Branch Water Department for 15 years. He loved working on the farm, art projects, spending time with his grandkids, and talking with his friends over a cup of coffee.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife of 60 years, Aldona Legate.
Don is survived by his three sons, Paul (Amy) Legate, Eric (Shannon) Legate, Brent Legate; five grandchildren, Summer Legate, Brody Legate, Erica Legate, Landon Legate, and Lakon Legate; one great grandchild, Conrad Tumminia; and numerous friends and family.
A graveside service will be held at Quattlebaum Cemetery on Friday, April 28, 2023, at 2:00pm.
