Donna Ruth Mack

Donna Ruth Nichols (Mack), age 75, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on June 14, 1950, at Faulkner County Hospital and was a proud graduate of Conway High School, Class of 1968.

Donna was the heart of her family — loving, strong, caring, and deeply devoted to the people she loved most. She never met a stranger and had a way of making everyone feel welcome, cared for, and at home. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially during holidays, family gatherings, and Sunday meals filled with laughter, music, and love.

She had a passion for cooking and was known for bringing people together around the table. Donna loved the beach, listening to soul music and all kinds of music, and creating memories with the people she cherished. She was truly family-oriented and found happiness simply being surrounded by those she loved.

Donna dedicated many years of her life to caring for others through her work with SAS, CHDC, Independent Living Services, and CareLink until her retirement. Her compassion and kindness touched countless lives throughout both her career and personal life.

She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory: her mother, Montine Nichols; her beloved daughter, Michelle Renae Mahan of Conway, Arkansas; her siblings, Billy Ray Nichols Jr. and Barbara Adams (Bill) of Little Rock, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Trey Oliver and Chiara Abrianna Bunting; and her great-grandchildren, Ashlynn Frazier, Gabby Oliver, Nick Oliver, and Paizee Linn of Conway, Arkansas. Donna also leaves behind a host of bonus grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly, along with many nieces, nephew, great-niece, and great-nephews who held a special place in her heart. She is also survived by her cherished pets, Millie and Pluto.

Donna was preceded in death by her father, Billy Ray Nichols Sr.; her great-niece, little Brianna; as well as her grandparents, aunts, and uncles.

Donna’s love, warmth, laughter, and unwavering devotion to her family will never be forgotten. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her.

A memorial service honoring Donna’s life will be held on May 23, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. At Wilcox Funeral Home.
