Donna Slaughter

Donna Guthrie Slaughter, 75, of Guy went to be with the Lord, May 22, 2017. She was born on November 3, 1941, in West Helena, Arkansas to Everett Whitfield Guthrie Sr. and Ruby Inez DeJarnatte Guthrie. Donna was a member of Cross Point Baptist Church in Greenbrier. Proceeding her in death is her parents Everett and Ruby Guthrie, her sister Inez Hill, and her granddaughter Stephanie Slaughter. Donna is survived by her husband of 57 years Sam Slaughter, her brother Everett Guthrie Jr. (Reba) of Santa Fe Tennessee, her sister Rosalie Marks of Lake City, Florida, her three sons, Todd Slaughter (Lynette) of Greenbrier, Arkansas, Scott Slaughter (Connie) of Springfield, Missouri and Brian Slaughter (Donna K) of Abilene, Texas and seven grandchildren, Dustin, Courtney, Brandon, Laura, Michelle, Jonathon, and Katelyn. Services will be held on Saturday May 27, 2017 at 10am at Cross Point Baptist Church with Pastor Matt Bagby officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8pm on Friday May 26, 2017 at Cross Point Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Donna's name to Cross Point Baptist Church.
