On December 8, 2018, Douglas “Mack” Bonds went to be with the Lord. Mack was born on October 16, 1943 to Joe Jackson Bonds and Myrtha A Lee Bonds in Arlberg, AR located on the Middle Fork of the Little Red River. Mack accepted Christ as his Savior at the age of 16 and his home Church was Grace Baptist in Conway, AR.
Mack is survived by his wife, M Peggy Carlton Bonds; son, Douglas Carlton Bonds; granddaughter, Emme Leigh Bonds; sister, Merle Sutterfield (Herman) – Fox, AR; brother, JC Bonds- Mountain View, AR; brother, Jessie Lee Bonds- Mountain View, AR; sister, Pat Ward, Atkins, AR; brother in Law, Bill Brazear-Conway, AR; brother in law, Stanley Carlton (Dorothy); sister in law, Marshalene Galloway(Don); sister in law, Dorothy Lockard; brother in law, Glenn Carlton (Peggy); brother in law, Larry Carlton (Willene); sister in law, Mary Bittle (Jim); sister in law, Saddi Moix (Charles); niece, Rachel Moix; along with numerous nieces and nephews from the extended Bonds and Carlton Families.
Mack is proceeded in death by: his Parents, Joe and Myrtha Bonds; sister, Eva Dean Widener (Floyd); sister, Emogene Fulmer (Raymond); sister, Norma Jo Brazear; sister in law, Ruth Bonds; niece, Rebecca Fulmer Anthony; brother in law, Tracy Ward; nephew, Scotty Bonds; nephew, Tony Bonds; nephew, Gary Bonds; mother and father in law, Jeff and Geneva Carlton, who he called Mom and Dad after he married their daughter Peggy; brother in law, Jim Lockard; niece, Melinda Lockard; and nephew, Larren Carlton.
Services to celebrate the life of Mack Bonds will be at 12 noon on December 14, 2018 at the Hilltop Holiness Church in Prim, AR. Visitation will be one hour before.
