Edward W. Furst, 83, of Conway, known by friends as Mr. Perpendicular, passed from death to life to join the Church Triumphant on Monday, April 4, 2016.
He was born March 31, 1933, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Edward Furst and Lucille Conkey Furst.
Edward proudly served in the United States Army and married the love of his life, Louise Neuweiler, on July 12, 1958.
Edward retired from a career in management in the brewing and shoe industries.
He loved whistling, watching UCA sports, playing golf, and spending time with family and friends.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
Edward is survived by his wife, Louise; three daughters, Cynthia Baglini and husband Joe of Allentown, PA,
Rebecca Marnell and husband James of Pittsburg, PA, and Lisa Ulmer and husband Jim of Conway;
granddaughters, Lindsay (Dave), Danielle (Brian), Janelle, Chelsea (Dustin), Jessica (Berry), and Kirby (Slade);
great-grandchildren, Ellie, Mathew, Emma, Noah, Joy, Christopher and Mae; and a host of other family and friends.
Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 11, 2016, at First United Methodist Church, 1610 Prince Street Conway, Arkansas,
with Pastor Carlos Summer officiating. A reception and lunch will follow in the Fellowship Hall.
Burial will be at Lake View Cemetery 12316 Euclid Ave. Cleveland, Ohio at a later date.
