Edward Paul Lachowsky

Edward Paul Lachowsky 88 of Conway
passed away July 29, 2013. He was born May 26, 1925 in Conway,
Arkansas to Augustus Lachowsky and Mary Ann Sheehan Lachowsky. Mr.
Lachowsky was a member of St. Joseph Catholic church in Conway. He
was a WWII veteran having served his county in the United States
Navy aboard the USS Scrimmage and retired from the Little Rock Zoo
after more than 20 Years.
He is preceded in death by his
parents, his wife of 50 years Ernestine Berniece Watters Lachowsky,
brothers Augustus Lachowsky Jr. and Bernard Lachowsky, sister Mary
Ellen Hambuchen and son Lloyd Lee Tucker.
Survivors include daughters
Paulette Chastain of Greenbrier and Gwendolyn Harrison of Conway,
grandchildren Faith McGhee, Hope Pruitt, Charity Estrada, T.E.
Starkey, Sarah Sigler, Keven Tucker, and Kris Tucker. Other
survivors include nine great grandchildren and two great great
grandchildren along with a host of other extended family and
friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday July
31, 2013 from 6 to 8 pm at Bishop-Griffin Funeral Home. Funeral
service will be 10 am Thursday August 1, 2013 in Bishop-Griffin
Chapel with Pastor William McPeake officiating. Burial will follow
in Crestlawn Cemetery
Pallbearers will be T.E. Starkey,
Ricardo Estrada, Ryan McGhee, Kristopher Tucker, John Shaw and
Craft Shaw. Honorary pallbearers will be Rick McGhee and Keven
Tucker.
