Eugene Brown, age 81, of Damascus, passed away October 31, 2024. He was born September 30, 1943 in Bradford, AR to the late Robert Brown and Elizabeth Linville. He was also preceded by his wife, Opal Brown; son, EJ Brown; two brothers and two sisters.
He was a construction worker at the rock crusher. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and shelling.
He is survived by daughter, Lisa Sliffe; five grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; four brothers; five sisters; and other family and friends.
A visitation will be held Monday, November 4, 2024, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wilcox Family Funeral Home. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at Faith Baptist Church in Quitman, with burial to follow at Marcus Hill Cemetery.
