Faye Nell Miller

Faye Nell Miller, 89, of Greenbrier, Arkansas went home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 22, 2024. Born on July 28, 1935, to parents George W. and Jessie Mae Casteel in Mesquite, Texas. She married her husband Buddy on March 12, 1953, and would have celebrated 71 years of marriage this year.
Faye enjoyed playing gospel music on her piano, traveling in her younger years and gardening in her earlier retirement years. She spoiled her grandchildren and loved them so well. Time surrounded by her family was her favorite. She will be greatly missed by those she leaves behind.
Preceding her in death is her loving husband of 52 years Earnest “Buddy” Miller; her parents, George and jessie Mae Casteel; her beloved big brother, Louis Weldon Casteel; a bonus grandson, David Harlan as well as her sister-in-law and best friend, Vera Stoddard.
Survivors include her son, Weldon Miller; grandchildren, Heather (Jason) Swan, Whitney Miller, and Caleb Miller; bonus granddaughter, Jennifer Harlan; great grandchildren, Mason and Rylin Cearly; seven bonus great grandchildren; also, a niece who describes Faye as more a mother than Aunt, Dawn (Rick) Symes.
A graveside service will be held at Grove Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park at 10:00am on Saturday, December 28, 2024, in Dallas, Texas.
