Felix Mendez

Felix Mendez, aka Fefe, passed away December 28, 2023. Born in Conway, AR on June 19, 2001 to Rebecca Ann McCully and Ruperto Mendez. Following Robert, Micheal, Tito and Sebastian. Felix was the 5th born, and the most cheerful and laughful spirit. In a way, his laughful, carefree smile would brighten up anyone’s bad day. Especially to people who didn’t know him. He always seemed to know when someone needed a smile. Seeing him laugh, smile and say “Hi” would melt all the stress away. Just knowing things will get better soon. Each one of his brothers loved him, as well as took time to watch and take good care of him. He taught each one of us how to love and care for the people we loved despite their flaws or disability.
Felix had amazing grandparents, Grandma Lainie Pickett and John Pickett, Grandpa Bob McCully and Barb McCully; and amazing Aunts Rose, Diana, Jessica, and Tina; following his great Uncle Rob McCully, each one spent time and loved Felix with all their hearts.
Felix won’t be forgotten, and he’s always gonna have a special place in our hearts. He taught me (Micheal) how to be the man I am, and the great father my kids tell me I am.
There will be a memorial service at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 9, 2023 in the chapel of Wilcox Family Funeral Home.
