Floyd Wayne Smart, 82, of Greenbrier, Arkansas passed away on August 13, 2022. He was born in Batesville, Arkansas on June 4, 1940 to Dolphus Smart and Elza Maxwell Smart.
He is preceded by his parents, Dolphus Smart and Elza Maxwell Smart; wife, Shirley Smart; sister, Blanche Hamilton; brother, Dale Smart; and great grandson, Case Newton.
Floyd is survived by his daughters, Kathy Newton of Wooster, Terry McCreary of Conway, Karen Maxwell of Conway, and Debbie Maxwell of Wooster; sons, Shawn Smart and wife Jessica of Greenbrier, Michael Smart of Wooster, Rickey Maxwell of Conway; grandchildren, Derek Newton, Brandi Newton, Tarah Godwin-Carroll and husband JJ, Adam Head, Misty Phillips and husband Jessie, Garet Davis and wife Lauren, Tanner Maxwell, Victoria Smith, Candace Smith, Taylor Smith, Holly Jordan husband Devon, Justin Smart, Hunter Smart; 19 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be on Thursday, August 18, 2022 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Wilcox Family Funeral Home.
Graveside will be at 10:00am on Friday, August 19, 2022 at Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
