Garret James Martin 12 of Greenbrier died August 15, 2012. He
was born July 18, 2000 in El Dorado, Arkansas to Darren Martin and
Jackie Smith Martin. Garret attended LifeSong Baptist church. He
played football for the Greenbrier panthers in the third through
fifth grades, and basketball for the panthers in the pewee league.
Garret loved doing anything outside.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother Jean Key Martin and
great grandmother Kella Salmon.
Survivors include his parents, Darren and Jackie Martin of
Greenbrier, grandparents Annetta Salmon Holloway and Ronnie
Holloway of Stephens, Arkansas and Robert R. Smith and Shirley
Smith of East Hampton, Massachusetts. Other survivors include
numerous aunts, uncles and cousins along with a host of
friends.
Visitation will be 6pm to 8pm Friday August 17, 2012 at
Bishop-Griffin Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 2pm Saturday
August 18, 2012 at LifeSong Baptist church with Bro. Freddie Mark
Wilcox officiating. A private burial will be held at a later
date.
