Genea Marie Gilson, age 59, of Conway, Arkansas formally of Mena, Arkansas, went to be with her Father in Heaven on Thursday June 23, 2016.
She was born July 6, 1956 in Oklahoma City, OK, to Billy Jean Lea and Alice Lorraine Williams Lea.
Education was close to her heart and she taught pre-school and touched the lives of many children and families.
She married the love of her life Larry on August 29th 1975. She led her life loving everyone she knew and met, and served with a Christ like Love.
If you knew her she loved you. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She is proceeded in death by her father.
Genea is survived by her mother, Alice Lea Miller; husband, Larry; two daughters, Starla Marie Ritter (Jeremy) and Franchesca Marie Farney (Thomas); four sons, Adam Lea Gilson, Benjamin Sion Gilson (Stefanie), Casey Lynn Gilson (Maria) and Danny Kim Gilson (Michelle Rodelo); fifteen grandchildren; three brothers, Dusty, Billy Joe and Ronnie (Cathy) Lea; one sister, Robin Bullock (Michael) and host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be from 6pm to 8pm Friday June 24, 2016 at Bishop-Crites Funeral Home Greenbrier, Arkansas.
Conway funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday June 25, 2016 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 2045 Dave Ward Dr. Conway, Arkansas.
The graveside burial will be at 2 p.m. Monday June 27, 2016 at The Six Mile cemetery in Hatfield, Arkansas.
