George H. Burns

On Saturday, June 26, 2021, George H. Burns, beloved brother, uncle, and friend, passed away at the age of 72. George was born October 1, 1948 in Little Rock, AR, to Buddy and Alma Burns. George was an award-winning master framer for more than 40 years and worked at various places in Little Rock and surrounding area. He retired from full-time work at McFarlin Frames in Jonesboro, AR, where he worked for 13 years. George was a lover of art and an artist himself. He was in several art shows over the years and his work was admired by family, friends and strangers. George was known for his creative talent, sense of humor and fun-loving spirit. He was a man rich with many loyal friends and family who loved him.

George was preceded in death by his father and mother, Buddy and Alma Burns; sisters, Mary James and Dee Thiede. He is survived by his brothers, James Burns (Joyce) from Scotland, AR, and Buddy Burns (Jerry) from Bixby, OK, several cousins, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
