Gerald Martin "Buddy" Moix

Gerald Martin “Buddy” Moix, age 48 passed away May 20, 2025. He was born October 13, 1976 in Conway, and was raised in Conway. He rodeoed in his younger years and went to the National High School Rodeo finals 3 years in a row. He was a Raiders fan through and through and an avid baseball fan. He loved hiking, hunting, and fishing. He was a skilled heavy equipment operator. He was an animal lover. He was a little superstitious and never put his cowboy hat on the bed.

He was preceded in death by his parents Gerald E Moix and Sandra Moix.

He is survived by his daughter, Karlee Moix; his sisters, Gela (Roger) Nelson and Ginger (Jerry) Davidson; nephews, Landon (Maddie) Bolden, Lewis (Jakea) Nelson; greatnephew, Nash Bolden; his aunt, Ann (Wayne) Story; honorary brother in law Travis Bolden; and honorary sister, Amanda Cumnock Rush; as well as many cousins and close friends.

A visitation will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at the Conway Cowboy Church, with a memorial service to follow at 6:30 p.m.
