Gertie Bell Black

Gertie Bell Black 76 of Greenbrier died May 20, 2012. She was
born March 11, 1936 in Prim, Arkansas to Elisha Turney and Gertie
Carlton Turney. Mrs. Black was of the Baptist faith and a member of
LifeSong Baptist Church in Greenbrier.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Bill Turney,
sisters Opal Woodham and Mary Jo Turney, step-daughter Becky Black
Wells and great grandchild Hayden Robert Davis.

Survivors include husband Ernest Black of Greenbrier, sister Mae
Ramer of Prim, Arkansas,  sons Frankie (Kathy) Lee of
Greenbrier, Wayne(Betty) Lee of Clinton, Allen Lee of South
Carolina and step-son Boyd Black of Little Rock, daughters Donna
Tindall of Greenbrier, Wanda(Randy) Liddell of Conway and
Gerty(Coy) Dunn of Bee Branch. Other survivors include 23
grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren along with a host of other
family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Shaun McElhaney, David McElhaney, Brian
Tindall, Shawn Torrance, Chase Holland, Danny Webb, Joseph Lee,
Greg Atkinson and Jerry Rooney

Visitation will be 9am to 8pm Wednesday May 23 with family
receiving friends from 6pm to 8pm at Bishop-Griffin Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 10am Thursday May 24 at LifeSong Baptist
Church with Bro. Freddie Mark Wilcox officiating. Burial will
follow at East Shady Grove Cemetery in Greenbrier.
