Harold Gene Freeman

Harold Gene Freeman, 80, of Greenbrier, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2023. He was born on December 14, 1942 in McGintytown, Arkansas to Samuel Freeman and Bertha McGinty Freeman.
Harold started working at Wards Bus Factory at the age of 16 and worked for more than 40 years before retiring. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a lifelong member of Needs Creek Missionary Baptist Church and loved his church family very deeply.
He is preceded by his wife of 59 years, Bettye Freeman; parents, Samuel and Bertha Freeman; two sisters, and four brothers.
Harold is survived by his children, Donny (Carol) Freeman, David (Valorie) Freeman, and Karen (Brad) Scott; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Caden) Freeman, Aaron Freeman, Brent Scott, Bryce (Timber) Scott, Triston Freeman; great grandchildren, Greyson Freeman, and Brightan Scott; brother, Charles Freeman; numerous family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Needs Creek Missionary Baptist Church on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at 1:00pm with Brother Joel Slayton and Brother Ronnie Allen officiating.
