Hayward R. Wallace was born November 16, 1936 in Union Parish, LA and passed away on December 2, 2020.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Randolph and Celia Wallace; brothers, James, Paul Arthur, and Derward Wallace; sister, Mary Virginia King.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Marilyn; sons, Duane Wallace and wife, Angie, Dean Wallace and wife, Christy, and Hardy Wallace; grandson, Cody Wallace and wife, Shelby; great grandson, Ryder Wallace; great granddaughter, Laken Wallace.
He was an Army Veteran. He was a carpenter and owner of Wallace Construction for 40 years. The man loved to work, after his legs got bad he enjoyed working on his backhoe and dozer. Toughest man we ever knew.
Visitation will be at Bishop-Crites Funeral Home on Friday, December 4, 2020 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm.
Private graveside service will be held.
