Hubert Lee Davis, 90 of Atkins went to
be with the Lord Thursday, May 10, 2018 at his home in
Atkins He was born July 17, 1927 in Ripley, TN to the
late James Sylvester and Myrtle Sanderson Sylvester. He
was a WWII Navy Veteran, and a retired factory worker.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years Ruby
Ailline Ray Davis, two daughters, Debra Cowgill of Southaven, MS,
Becky Long (Wayne) of Atkins, three sons, Gene Davis (Diana) of
Saulsbery, TN, Jack Davis (Paula) of Southaven, MS and James Davis
(Frances) of Conway, AR, fourteen grandchildren and thirty
great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are 2 pm Saturday at Atkins
United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Kenny Long officiating.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm Friday at the
Church. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in
Atkins.
Pallbearers are Marcus Long, Greg
Aaron, Richard Sharp, Jesse Thompson, Josh Chronister, Doug Davis
and Kris Long.
