Imogene Florence (Passmore) Woods, 85, of Guy, AR, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 2, 2021. She was born on Wednesday, April 8th, 1936, in Elba, Arkansas to the late James Miller and Jessie (Clements) Passmore.
Maw was a true “Angel” on earth. She was the sweetest, most kind, and the absolute best mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved everyone. She loved to cook, nurture, and was very strong in her faith. She loved children and was a foster mother to nineteen. She was known by many names, Mom, Maw, Granny and Aunt Shene. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Those left behind to cherish the wonderful memories of Imogene include her daughter Judy Spears and husband Randy of Guy; granddaughter, Jessica Freeman and husband Darrel of Greenbrier; grandson, Shane Collier of Guy; five great grandchildren, Lucas Thorn, Kaitlyn, Greenlee, Easton and Wyatt Collier; her best friend and sister of 79 years Bessie Bearden; numerous nieces, nephews and close family friends.
She is preceded in death by the love of her life Kenneth C. Woods, her husband of 44 years; two brothers, Bill and Deevie Passmore; sister, Pauline Dasher; special nephew, Albert Woods Sr.; and her parents.
Visitation will be from 12:00pm to 8:00pm with family receiving family and friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Friday, September 3, 2021 at Bishop-Crites Funeral Home in Greenbrier, Arkansas.
Funeral services will be at 2:00pm on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Bishop-Crites Funeral Home in Greenbrier, with Pastor Gary Anderson, Pastor Michael Blakley Sr. and Pastor Don Richardson officiating. Internment will be at Rosebud Cemetery in Rosebud Arkansas.
