James Edward "Jamie" Goree

James Edward “Jamie” Goree, 46, of Greenbrier passed from this life on August 25, 2022 at his home. Jamie was born January 27, 1976 in Searcy, Arkansas. He enjoyed hunting, camping, floating the river and margaritas. He was an enthusiastic mechanic who could fix anything. Jamie was happiest spending time with his family, especially his wife and children. He will always be remembered as a kind, generous and loving man who never met a stranger and would give the shirt off of his back to anyone in need.

Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Jeannie Goree; mother, Kem Brown of Floyd; children, Zachary Goree of Pangburn, Selena (Nikolai) Ezekiel of Benton, Breanna Goree of Greenbrier (mother, Michelle), Dixie Goree of Vilonia, Ruthie, and Duncan Barnhart both of Greenbrier, Sarabeth, and Isabella Baughman both of Vilonia. Other survivors include brother, Tyler Brown of Beebe; and uncle, Lloyd Goree along with a host of extended family and dearly loved friends.

Jamie was preceded in death by his father, John Goree; grandfather, James F. Goree, and brother, Brandon Goree.

A visitation will take place on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Wilcox Family Funeral Home, 108 North Broadview Street, Greenbrier, Arkansas 72058.
