James "Jimmy" Marshall Jones

James Marshall “Jimmy” Jones, 63, of Walls, MS formerly of Sheridan, AR passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 30, 2024. He was born in Pine Bluff, AR on July 4, 1960 to JR and Jean Darnell Jones. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Jimmy was a graduate of Sheridan High School and attended U of A at Monticello. Most of his life was spent in long haul trucking but in his spare time he enjoyed many hobbies and interests especially riding motorcycles, hunting, music venues and playing in pool tournaments.
He is survived by his wife, Shawn Jones; sister, Patsy Jones Nowlin; children, Emily Howard (Jerry), Russell Jones (Reilee), Kelsey Jones, Alyssa Slaughter (Thomas Green) and Jason Hudson (Erika). In addition he is survived by his grandchildren, Conner, Taylor, Jocelyn, Liam, Brantley, Reese, Casen, Chloe, Chase and Ben; in-laws, Wayne and Gloria Ingram; and numerous cousins.
Visitation will be held at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2686 Hwy. 167 N, Sheridan, AR on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. with a funeral service to begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Lost Creek Cemetery.
