James Harold "Chic" Matthews II born April 25, 1958 and passed away on November 6, 2024, age 66, born in LaJolla, California, Chic grew up in Falls Church, Virginia.
Chic served in the Navy from 1975 to 1977 when he was discharged.
He moved to Greenbrier in 1997. Chic was preceded in death by his parents, James H Matthews and Elaine Matthews nee Carter, and his younger brother, Michael Brian Mtthews. Chic leaves behind a loving wife, Linette Matthews of Greenbrier, AR, 4 step daughters, Amanda Sanders of Conway, AR, Jessica Kelly of El Paso, AR, Leslie Bell of Jonesboro, LA, and Ashleigh Bell of Statesville, NC, 2 half sisters, Anita Hess of Festus, MO and Laurie Hook of Herculaneum, MO and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. He will be missed by many.
