James Jones

James Berton Jones, 77, of Greenbrier passed away November 11,
2012. He was born November 30, 1934 in Indianapolis, Indiana to
James Warren Jones and Luverne Griffith Jones. Mr. Jones was of the
Baptist faith and served his country in the United States armed
forces for 22 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two
sisters.
Survivors include his wife Elizabeth Jones, son Jonathan Jones
(Krystal) of Greenbrier, daughters Paula Bullington (Jerry) of
Greenbrier, Carolyn Wilson (Pat) of Little Rock, and Julia
Cunningham(Kelvin) of Summerville, South Carolina. Other survivors
include sisters Helena Zook, Juanita Dewesse (Bill), and Loretta
Chupp (Melvin), twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren
along with many other extended family and friends.
A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu
of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude
Children's Hospital.
