Janette Beth Goodrich

Janette Goodrich, 78, of Greenbrier, Arkansas passed away on January 9, 2026, peacefully in her home. Janette was born on June 29, 1947, in Marlin, Texas to R.C. and Naomia Wiley. She was a member of McGintytown Bible Church.

Janette was married to John Goodrich for 60 years and was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

 She is survived by her husband John; son Robert (Wanda) Goodrich; daughter, Amy (Herb) Evans; grandchildren, Heath Goodrich, Haley (Jimmy) Strough, Harrison (Tira) Goodrich, Jill (Bret) Smith, Jenna Goodrich, Herbie (Piper) Evans, John and Parker Evans;  and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and son Bradley Goodrich.

Those who knew Janette will remember her for hospitality, love for critters, and her faith. She enjoyed supporting her children, and grandchildren in their extracurricular activities, attending ball games, band concerts, and pageants. The door to her home was rarely locked, and those who knew this were always welcome to walk right in. Janette found great joy in watching her animals on the farm, and fostered many animals over the years, bottle feeding many goats, lambs, kittens and puppies over the years. Known by “Granny” to many, she will be missed immensely, and many fond memories remain in the minds of those who knew her. She is now at rest, awaiting the coming day of resurrection, where we will see her again in the day of our Lord.

A funeral service will be held on January 13, 2026, at 2 pm at McGintytown Bible Church.

Visitation will be at the church at 1pm with the service immediately following.
